the NA has all the 'fun' parts, without the 'go fast' parts, and it'll be cheaper. If you aren't good with a wrench, expect to pay a ton of money in maintenance over the years, the TT Z (and the NA to a smaller degree) is not a cheap car to own. Mixed with the requirement that it needs premium gas, and neither get good gas mileage, it'll be expensive. 10k for an imported TT could be an OK deal, depending on its condition. However, I still bet you'll have to do a bunch of work on it to get it running right.
